The West Wing细致角色介绍

都快完了我才开始看:sweat:

Main Characters

President Josiah BartletAfter serving three terms as a U.S. Congressman and two terms as the Governor of New Hampshire, Josiah "Jed" Bartlet realized his dream of becoming President of the United States of America. A deeply religious man, President Bartlet attended Notre Dame University with the thought of becoming a priest. After deciding against that, Bartlet received a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics. As President, he often slides into the role of professor and mentor, and still turns to God for advice when facing any kind of crisis. He's been married to the First Lady, Abigail, for thirty-two years and they have three daughters, Liz, Ellie and Zoe. Barlet claims he is a direct descendant of one of the original signers of the Declaration of Independence. The President recently revealed to his staff and the American public that he has multiple sclerosis.

Charlie Young
Charlie joined the staff as the President's aide right after his mother, a police officer, was killed in the line of duty. He blames himself for her death because he had asked her to switch shifts. Now, he is trying to help put his sister through school and figure out a way to go back to college himself. The other staffers look after Charlie like a younger brother. He is romantically involved with the President's daughter, Zoe. This interracial relationship inadvertently led to an assassination attempt when white supremacists targeted Charlie, but opened fire on the President and his staff.

Abigail Bartlet
The First Lady, known simply as Abbey, has been married to Josiah Bartlet for over thirty years. She is the only person that can get in his face and give him the reality check he often needs. With a medical degree from Harvard University, Abbey is licensed in both thoracic surgery and internal medicine. On top of that, and mothering her three grown daughters, she is also an adjunct Professor of Thoracic Surgery at Harvard Medical School and on the staffs of both Boston Mercy Hospital and Columbia Presbyterian. She is spiritual (and has been known to use the Ouija board), but not as devoutly religious as her husband.

Leo McGarry
As the White House Chief of Staff, Leo must be all things to all people, but his loyalties remain with President Bartlet. Originally from Boston, Leo served as a pilot in Vietnam before becoming the Secretary of Labor, which led to his current position. Leo's personal vices include alcohol and Valium, which have landed him in treatment before. His wife of many years, Jenny, considers his "addiction" to the job a vice, and has filed for divorce. They have a daughter, Mallory.

Josh Lyman
Josh serves as the Deputy White House Chief of Staff and therefore works closely with Leo McGarry (White House Chief of Staff). An Ivy-league graduate, Josh served as the floor manager for the House Minority Whip, the Chief of Staff for Congressman Earl Brennan, a staffer on the presidential campaign of Senator John Hoynes (currently Vice President) and then as Senior Political Director for Bartlet's campaign. Josh hails from Connecticut and is known as a competitive team player.

Donna Moss
Donna is Josh Lyman's trustworthy and capable assistant. She dropped out of the University of Wisconsin after two years to put her boyfriend through school, only to be dumped later. Donna keeps a diary to record her White House experiences, as well as her dating disasters. She was recently shocked to discover that she is a Canadian, not American, citizen due to a U.S. state boundary change

Toby Ziegler
Toby, the White House Director of Communications, may be seen as cynical, but really just tries not to let optimism cloud reality. Known also for his abrasive sense of humor, Toby considers arguing to be his hobby. He savors his pain-in-the-ass reputation. Being from New York, Toby is a hardcore baseball fan and also enjoys knocking back a few drinks after work. Toby's ex-wife, Andrea Wyatt, is currently in Congress.

Sam Seaborn
A graduate of Princeton University and Duke Law School, Sam serves as Deputy Communications Director in the Bartlet Administration. While his efforts at romance (first with a student who moonlighted as a call girl, and later with Leo's daughter, Mallory) have gotten him into occasional hot water, his professional life seems well on track. He is fiercely loyal, dedicated to public service, and known at times to be unabashedly idealistic in his beliefs.

Will Bailey
As Horton Wilde's campaign manager in the House race in Orange County (a district where it's nearly impossible to get a Democrat elected), Will Bailey continued running Wilde's campaign even after his candidate died of a heart attack. ent out west to end the campaign, Sam Seaborn was impressed with Will's writing, his conviction and his politics, and instead recommended Will to Toby to help write Bartlet's second inauguration speech. After proving his mettle on the inauguration speech, Toby and the president asked Will to stay in the West Wing, as the new Deputy Communications Director, replacing Sam when Sam left to run for congress in California. Later, Will left the President's service for the role of Communications Director for the Vice President.

C.J. (Claudia Jean) Cregg
Answering questions, running damage control and crafting "truths" for public consumption are all in a day's work for Press Secretary C.J. Cregg. Luckily, her background in a Hollywood public relations firm has thoroughly prepared her for the job. Although, the massive pay cut was a bit of a shock. C.J. has a quick wit which helps keep her sane when dealing with the press. However, she has managed to get herself into more than one mess with a flip comment here and there. C.J.'s social life is somewhat lacking, due to her crazy work schedule.

"Bingo Bob" is a solidly mediocre politician who was not Bartlet's first choice to replace Hoynes. 我看tww, 我看rob lowe:bkiss:

第一季第一集他对一群小孩子说it's important to remember that it's not the DNC, but rather your taxed dollars to pay my salaries so I work for you, wether you're impressed or not, 然后一堆小孩朝他发愣, 他发现自己失言, 太可爱了, 那个美女了老师问他有关这个建筑的历史, 接着他有开始讲述自己的简历, 其实是对历史一问三不知:stonn: :stonn: 最后才发现那个美女老师就是他boss的女儿
