[color=red]Jennifer Aniston has fetched herself a new role in Marley & Me[/color], an adaptation of John Grogan’s bestselling memoir about an incorrigible Labrador retriever.
David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada) will direct, Owen Wilson will co-star and [color=red]production will commence in 2008[/color].
According to Variety, “Marley is the yellow lab adopted by Grogan, a columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, and his wife. Their idea was to give them a taste of parenthood, but the dog proved to be a hyperactive handful. He wreaks havoc, gets kicked out of obedience school and gets even worse when the children begin to arrive, yet becomes an indispensable part of the family.”
[color=darkorchid]Aniston, 38, also scored herself a small role in He’s Just Not That Into You[/color], an ensemble comedy based on the best-selling book that is a social commentary about modern-day relationships and how men and women often misconstrue the intentions of the opposite sex.
Ken Kwapis (License to Wed) will direct, [color=darkorchid]production will star early September in L.A.[/color] and Drew Barrymore is producing via her Flower Films production company.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, [color=darkorchid]“Aniston will play a woman in a long-term relationship with a boyfriend who will not commit to marriage.”
