February 20, 2008 -- ON its face, asking supermodel Paulina Porizkova to judge "America's Next Top Model" is a little like President Bush asking Barack Obama to be his new Iraq war consultant.
Last year, Porizkova told The Post the show was "[color=Red]completely unrealistic. They obviously don't take girls based on who can actually be a model[/color]."
"Top Model" contestants were sorely lacking in the looks department, she said. "I look at the girls and think, 'How are you gonna make a model out of that?' "
So, now that she's a judge on the show, which returns to the CW tonight, has she changed her mind?
Not a bit.
"I still stand by that," says Porizkova.
"As soon as [the producers] called me, I was like, 'You know that this is what I think about the show, and that I refuse to lie, right?'
"And they were like, 'That's why we want you.' "
"When we started out, we had Janice Dickinson," "Top Model" executive producer Ken Mok points out. "That's the exact type of person we want - a person who's not going to censor themselves."
Porizkova sees herself as a corrective.
"I want to be the one going, 'This is not working. What delusions are you under here?' " she says.
[color=Red]Porizkova has learned how "Top Model" relates to the realities of modeling the same way "The Bachelor" depicts the realities of dating - which is to say, hardly at all. [/color]
"[color=Red]America's Next Top Model has to be very well-rounded, which I've never heard anybody say about a print model," says Porizkova. "Models are not meant for TV - that's the nature of the work, that you're one-dimensional.
"You can be as dumb as a log and just look great. [/color]
"But being America's Next Top Model, you have to have some personality."

更加喜欢paulina了....:love2: 个人认为第九季的女孩是这几季最高的水准了，可惜全被耍了。第九季播出期间还一度让我重拾ANTM的信心呢，唉……同LS，越来越喜欢Porizkova了 參加ANTM 就表示你不可能成爲top model :rolleyes:
