On Friday, in an interview with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush for “The Billy Bush Show,” Affleck said life with Garner and the couple’s two-year-old daughter Violet was going well.
[color=Blue]“Things are pretty great,” Affleck said, when asked if he had any vacation plans on the horizon. “We’re very happy. Things couldn’t be better. We’re kind of taking it easy and just kind of enjoying a little downtime at home.”[/color]
Affleck said he wasn’t really thinking about taking a holiday away presently.
“I’m at a point now where even… vacation sort of feels a little bit like work,” he laughed. “I’d rather just kind of chill and take it easy.”
In related news, on Thursday, Affleck helped out “Nightline,” shining a light on the situation in the Congo.
The three trips the actor made affected him deeply, he told Billy.
“It’s definitely changed me,” Affleck said. “It’s definitely been a part of… I guess a growing sense that I have a responsibility to do something with my life that’s other than just serving mileage in some way… You have a responsibility to your kid and also a responsibility to the world around you, so all that [is] part of the motivation for doing all this stuff.”[/quote]
