《幸福的日子又来了》是在1929年10月引发全国大萧条的证券市场风潮前夕介绍给听衆的。正因“幸福的日子”离人们很远，人们需要开开心。这首歌作爲民主党人弗兰克林．D．罗斯福总统竞选运动的主题歌闻名于世，已成爲民主党全国代表大会必唱的歌曲。这首歌由米尔顿．艾格谱曲，杰克．叶伦作词。这两位搭档于1927年还写了《她可爱吗?》艾杰在1921年曾爲《我是小人物的孩子》谱曲。
